Privacy Notice
This notice covers the Sparq waitlist at sparq.ae and nothing else. Sparq has not launched. When the platform opens we will publish a full privacy policy covering accounts, applications, matching and employer access, and we will tell you before it applies to you.

What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your mobile number, including the country code you select
That is everything. We do not ask for your date of birth, your school, your grades, your CV or your ID. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites, and we do not run advertising pixels on this page.
Your browser and our hosting provider will record standard technical information such as your IP address and the time of your visit, in the ordinary course of serving you the page.
Why we collect it
One reason only. To contact you once, when registration opens, with your access link.
We will not send you marketing while you are on the waitlist. We will not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone. We will not pass them to employers or to any other company for their own use.
Our lawful basis
We process your details on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time and we will delete your details. See "Your choices" below.
Who else sees it
We use Loops (loops.so), an email platform operated from the United States, to store waitlist details and send the launch message. Loops processes your details on our instructions and is not permitted to use them for its own purposes.
This means your details are stored outside the United Arab Emirates. If you are not comfortable with that, do not join the waitlist and write to privacy@sparq.ae instead, and we will contact you at launch by another method.
We do not share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until registration opens and for twelve months after, so that we can contact you if you have not yet used your access link. After that we delete waitlist records that have not become accounts.
If you ask us to delete your details before then, we will.
If you are under 18
The Sparq waitlist is open to students from the age of 16. If you are under 18, please read this notice with a parent or guardian before you join, and only join if they are comfortable with it.
We do not offer the waitlist to anyone under 16. If you are under 16 and have joined, or if you are a parent or guardian and would like your child's details removed, write to privacy@sparq.ae and we will delete them.
When Sparq launches, students under 18 will need verified parental or guardian consent before they can create an account or apply for anything. Being on the waitlist does not create an account and does not commit you to one.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what details we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your details
- Stop processing your details, or withdraw your consent
- Send you a copy of your details in a portable format
Write to privacy@sparq.ae and we will act within thirty days. There is no charge.
You also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office if you think we have handled your details badly.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection and waitlist details are held in access-controlled systems. No system is perfect. If something goes wrong that affects your details, we will tell you and we will tell the relevant authority.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use waitlist details, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email you before it takes effect.
